Jason Baker is a percussionist, author, and composer/arranger living in Starkville, Mississippi. He serves as professor of music at Mississippi State University, associate editor of Percussive Notes, and has released two method books, three solo CDs, over 25 compositions and arrangements, and authored articles on percussion education, performance, history and music business. Baker performs extensively throughout the southeastern United States as a soloist and freelance orchestral musician and is a Yamaha Performing Artist and an artist for Innovative Percussion, Remo, Sabian and Grover Pro Percussion.
